Tree pose at Holm Firth - points for the king of the mountain were awarded here in the #tourdefrance this year. Such peace! Went for a great run this arvo (8k on 4:50) and I’m heading to Ireland for a week tomorrow. Such awesome.
I channelled my inner @jess_tren on my run the Glasgow Green this morning. Some spectator stands remain from the games and I swear I could just about hear people cheering for me. Thinking about our marathon success was enough to spur me along anyway! (at Glasgow Green)
Quinoa, edamame and soybean salad with soy and ginger dressing whilst waiting to board a train to #Edinburgh #uk
#Buxton #uk our first stop on a day touring the countryside
Spent the day in Chester and added a new blog post. Pretty productive. http://mbevstravels.blogspot.co.uk/2014/09/manchester.html Chester is gorgeous: an ancient walled city with buildings dating back 1000 years and charming Tudor buildings.
New favourite thing: Marks and Spencer’s. I got two super yummy salads for £3. This was a crunchy brain salad with almonds, pistachios, quinoa (red, white, black, broccoli, beans, pepitas) with a yummy dressing. My other salad was mango, mangetout had cabbage with an amazing lime and ginger dressing. Stoked at how easy it is to eat yummy fresh food overseas.
